Dear heart-led friend,
When you’re pursuing anything in life, including building a business, it's essential to have the skills, expertise and understanding of the people you want to serve. But there’s something that you need above that. That’s your own belief in your ability, your worth and potential to grow and make a difference. It’s your belief that will pull you through the tough times and motivate you to keep going after your dreams.
So many of us grow with experiences that are unresolved and hold us back. Often we don’t even realise it. For me, the process of my divorce was central to the growth of my business. For many years, I had a great brand but I continued working on my business part-time because I didn’t believe I could go all in.
But after my divorce, the healing, reflection and realisation of my worth inspired me to go full-time in 2020. Embracing all parts of me finally allowed me to step into my full power as a founder and welcome abundance in income, fulfilment and new opportunities as well. But the really surprising this was that this shift translated across my business AND personal life. I'm here to tell you that this can happen for you too.
This poetry workshop is designed to help everyone - business owners and non-business owners to heal from past experiences through poetry, so you can allow yourself to believe in your own abilities and live a more fulfilling life.
You’ll be introduced to new writing techniques that you can use long after our session to continue exploring your creativity and experiences. All that's left for me to say is that I can't wait to meet you at our next workshop.
Stay open, stay curious and trust the process and I promise, wonderful things will unfold.
Gurpreet

Your host
Language is my life..
I’m Gurpreet and working with language is my life. I currently do it in three ways - as a copywriter, brand clarity consultant and poet. I believe there’s no way of exploring life and language more freely than through poetry. Its capacity to heal, empower and revitalise the soul can be truly life-changing, which is why I’m so excited to host this workshop.
I’ve just published my debut collection, titled Four Humid Months and am working on a second that celebrates life in all its big and small joys. I’ve been featured on BBC Radio Berkshire and Talk Radio Europe and published in Visual Verse and Ink, Sweat & Tears where my poem, ‘Imagining Myself as a Lonely, Old Woman, won the April 2022 Pick of the Month.

Frequently asked questions
Definitely not! This workshop is for everyone from curious beginners, who have never read a single poem, to people who are interested in reading more and experimenting with their own writing.
That depends on what subjects/ themes you enjoy reading about. I’d recommend a trip to the Poetry Pharmacy on Oxford Street in London, if you live close by, or your local bookshop. I would also recommend poetry from The Nation’s Favourite Poems, which is available to purchase online.
No, it’s completely up to you and how you feel - there’s absolutely no pressure.
Each workshop will hold space for up to 12 people. I want to make sure that I can give everyone my time 1:1, so the groups will always be small.
No problem! Just email me at hello@gbcopywriting.com with the details.
I read this in one sitting, but can see myself going back to it time and time again. The poetry is beautifully written and I really felt the way the author has been vulnerable in putting her experience and whole heart into this project.
